Zephaniah 3:17

I have  a beautiful worship album – entitled Glory Revealed – and it is just Scripture verses put to song.  I love it, because I am memorizing the Word, and I love it, because I know the whole album is doctrinally sound, and not fluffy.

This particular song/verse gave me chills tonight.

“The Lord your God is in your midst,
a mighty one who will save;
he will rejoice over you with gladness;
he will quiet you by his love;
he will exult over you with loud singing.

The Great I Am is in my midst?!?  He rejoices over me?!?!  With LOUD singing?!?!?

Praise God……  “The reason for the season.”  Ah – yes!  How absolutely humbling to be so lifted up and adored by the King of kings.  How delightful to be hushed by His song.  I wish I could hear it… My oldest son speculates on what God might sound like.  He also asked me if God sings.  And I can say “Yes, my child!  He makes up songs about YOU!!!”  He fills His courts with delight in you!  In me!”  And in all of His beloved.  This Tuesday is our blessed reminder of what He came to do – to seek and save the lost.  To offer forgiveness for the wrongs we have done.

 Revel in His delight in you – and worship our glorious King with me!
